Printrbot, Inc will accept returns of any non-clearance item ordered directly from Printrbot (accessory, unopened/unbuilt kit or assembled Printrbot) within 30 days of the date of delivery. After obtaining an RMA from Printrbot (steps below), you may return your item(s) for any reason within these 30 days. After this 30 day period, your purchase is final and no returns will be accepted. Printrbot charges a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price (price of the product, excluding tax and shipping), and in addition the buyer must pay all shipping charges (shipping charges on the initial purchase is not refundable).
Once a kit has left our shop there is no way for us to know how it was handled. Therefore, only unopened, unbuilt, kits that have no evidence of an attempted build or use will be refunded less the 20% restock fee. Things like opened/unsealed plastic bags, any marks on the components, etc. will result in no refund given on the kit. Should you purchase a kit and begin to assemble it, you will not be able to return that kit for refund.
Printrbot is not responsible for any shipping damage of returned product. Only re-saleable, unmarked, undamaged, unaltered products will be eligible for refund less the 20% restocking fee. The 20% restocking fee goes to the cost of us verifying, disassembling, repackaging, handling and re-testing components. Printrbot has the sole discretion to determine whether or not a returned product is eligible for refund. When returning products, please make sure that the product is properly and securely packaged to prevent any shipping damage. We recommend you purchase shipping insurance to cover your losses in the event of any shipping damage.
Printrbot does not accept returns for orders that were not placed directly with Printrbot. If an order was placed with a reseller/distributor, please see the reseller’s return policy and process the return with the reseller.
How to Return Your Printrbot
Before returning your kit or assembled Printrbot, please follow the steps below.
The first step is to open a support ticket as we would like to try to assist you with anything you need before you return your item(s).
After you have opened a support ticket you will be given an RMA number from a support tech. You need this number as Printrbot will not accept a return without an RMA.
When you return your item(s), you must include both your RMA and order numbers in the box. Please send all returns to:
