More bad news on the documentation. My MakerBot is responding to commands from ReplicatorG. X, Y, and Z axis (what is the plural for axis?!) are all responding properly. I did have to reverse the direction of 2 of the stepper motors. The documentation was incorrectly suggesting that I swap wires, but I ignored that and eventually found a post referencing the preferences in ReplicatorG. Sure enough, there are simple check boxes in the “Machine” menu under Motherboard Onboard Preferences. Done. Now all the directions are correct, so on to calibrate. But, no, the documentation screeches to a halt. Here is one example:

  1. add detail about idler wheel positioning, failure modes, etc.

That is a note to add proper documentation.  Thanks, Guys.  So now what?
