I have seen this movie and LOVE IT! If you follow the link above, SPOILER ALERT! When I saw the cubes in the movie, I immediately said out loud “I could print that!” It’s no surprise that others had the same thought.

The bottom line: They don’t want us printing our own at home.
My response: If I design something from memory, or after being inspired by another piece, it seems I should be able to give it away as an original design.

On the other hand, if I try to rip off a product and go to great pains to make an exact replica, I would expect a take-down notice.
