We’re excited to share that we’re serving as a sponsor for the CTE Makeover Challenge from the U.S. Department of Education. The Department launched the Challenge in support of President Barack Obama’s Nation of Makers Initiative, and seeks to inspire high schools across the country to design makerspaces that strengthen 21st century career skills.
The Challenge will award $200,000 in cash prizes, and additional in-kind prizes from sponsors like us to enable schools to bring their makerspace designs to life.
Makerspaces provide students the tools, materials, and resources to design, build, and innovate, helping them hone critical skills for future career success. We’re thrilled to support learning through making in our schools, and can’t wait to see what high schools envision for new makerspaces.
