Thank you for purchasing the Printrbot Go 3D printer.  Please follow the steps above to get started using your printer.  If you run into any issues during the process, please visit our main Support Site for help and assistance if needed.

Printrbot Go Family

The Printrbot Go v2 comes in two sizes, Medium and Large.  Each model features a folding design with removable cover and handle and multi-extruder options.

  • Download Repetier – A free software for communicating with your printer through your computer.
  • Google SketchUp – The easiest way to draw in 3D… and it’s free!
  • Download Octoprint – Some Raspberry Pi users prefer Octoprint.  Click here for a guide on setup.

Important Configuration

Due to the mass of this printer, it is best to use slower speeds.

Windows 8.1 has recently dropped signed drivers to recognize your Printrbot.  For other versions of Windows, download the required USB driver from http://pjrc.com/teensy/serial_install.exe, right click on it and “Run as Administrator” to install the INF file. It should create a new COM port that you can then use in Repetier to connect.  Windows 8 users – if you are still having trouble, see this guide.
